[OOC: Skye has taken it upon herself to facilitate a discussion forum online.

All accounts highly anonymized and access granted only by a password; details are being spread by word of mouth, friend to friend, always with the warning that just because the accounts are anonymous doesn’t mean that Goluboy or his people can't try to sleuth people’s identities from context clues.

Skye sets a time for when the discussion forum will go live, and at midnight that evening, a website goes live with a simple comment post function and a message that all data will be deleted within 24 hours.

This is both a networking post for participants in the Shitty Little Town plot to compare information, and an in-game Anon Meme as NPC townspeople find their way onto the forum, hungry for internet socialization after these dry, dull years of slow shitty half-functioning dialup.]

I have talked to the mother and I took pictures of the letter she received, as well as one of a friend. I do not think their children were replaced so much as disappeared, with someone else writing bland letters home to keep their families placated. One letter was likely genuine and describes life in a Swedish boarding school, so the scholarship recipients seem to not have been disappeared as soon as they left town. Unfortunately I have not had an opportunity to check if the boarding school the letters came from exists in truth. I doubt I will be able to find out more until communications to the outside world are restored, or asking Cygne herself.

[Loki's probably just outed himself to at least two townspeople, and maybe more, but it's go time. Not that the civilians need to know that.]

she probs went after me despite the fact i was a scrub who was beneath her fancy scholarship cuz i was this thing called a foster kid in my fake human life and i bet she thought noone would miss me. my foster parents were basically on drugs all the time i think cuz they were zooooned. they wouldnt have noticed for days.

then the cops couldve just said i was a runaway or sumthing and i bet everyone woulda believed them.

ps this whole human foster system is good in principle but sux in execution. not knockin the basic idea when being orphaned back home usually means dying somehow or getting captured into slavery or havin to do a life of the bad kinds of crime. but boooo on the execution. boooooooo
