❅ SHITTY LITTLE TOWN ❅ NETWORK POST ANON COMM

[OOC: Skye has taken it upon herself to facilitate a discussion forum online.

All accounts highly anonymized and access granted only by a password; details are being spread by word of mouth, friend to friend, always with the warning that just because the accounts are anonymous doesn’t mean that Goluboy or his people can't try to sleuth people’s identities from context clues.

Skye sets a time for when the discussion forum will go live, and at midnight that evening, a website goes live with a simple comment post function and a message that all data will be deleted within 24 hours.

This is both a networking post for participants in the Shitty Little Town plot to compare information, and an in-game Anon Meme as NPC townspeople find their way onto the forum, hungry for internet socialization after these dry, dull years of slow shitty half-functioning dialup.]

[The only thing in this post is a photo.

It shows a large cork board covered in a map of the town. Various locations circled and highlighted in different colors. Multiple strings have been pinned across the board connecting various locations.

The main string is in red. The pins hold up pictures and small blurbs cut out of xeroxed news articles. Some of the faces are familiar-- some aren't. It doesn't take long to realize the connection between them all. These are people who have died from "animal attacks", their photos and obituaries tacked to the location their bodies were discovered. The articles go back decades, putting together a timeline that spans far beyond the deaths people have noticed in the past few years.

Only one point marked in red doesn't have a photo or label, in the woods behing one of the much nicer neighborhoods.

Other colors of string hold up names and locations. People who went missing whose bodies were never found, places where people claimed to have seen one of the wild animals the attacks have been attributed to-- even people who have left town and never come back, not even to visit family.

The entire town is in a circle that marks about 20 miles out. This marks the boundary of how far away people are able to get.

The whole thing looks like months-- if not years-- of work from someone completely obsessed.
