Let's do this One Last Time [video]
All right, people. I’m going through the archives of this place to convert all the parchment confetti into indexable data sheets.
You can thank me later for saving you all the headache.
[ The vibe of this is an 8 AM Stand-Up Meeting rather than a gathering of guardians. The video's pov is from his lab, which in addition to the completed gigacomputer, was beginning to have half-finished little magitech doohickeys scattered in sparse nooks of free space. The amount of spiderbots seems to have been left at one (1) so far.]
First item: Mission debriefs. If you've fought any dark forces recently and have extra concerning details to share, we should write it down instead of keeping it in our heads.
Second: Current Projects. Anyone who's a friend to reindeer - you ought to talk to Phil and do him a solid for all the holiday prep. For the science nerds lurking around, I’d like to borrow your brains over here.
[ He'd normally have Lyla take care of this, but he's stuck with non-sentient computers. He hates it! ]
Last: Introductions for the new kids. And universe number, if your world has one of those - the chalkboard maps are getting digitized. I'll start.
My name is Miguel O'Hara, Spider-Man of Nueva York. No, they aren't vampire fangs. [ tired hand wave, as if recapping for the millionth time. ] I‘ve been mopping up messes in my neck of the multiverse until getting picked for fairy-tale duty with the rest of you.

No encounters with Kuk, it sounds like. Everything all right at the shelter...?
[ having his head lost in a bunch of scifi problems leads to miguel missing a lot of the usual stuff that gets tended to when a Spider's attention is split over one neighborhood. but ultimately, he still had the urge to care. ]
I'll make of note of the sukimamori here.

[did they involve murder? probably not. mostly not. Doubtless some cars have had slashed tires though.]
They are very large and alarming and appear to want to eat people, but... [pause. do they eat people who fall into that upsetting gap despite the sukimamori's best efforts?? in hindsight that's a bit unclear] They are there to scare people into caution.
cw: cannibalism mention
[ he has done worse than slash tires. alternatively: someone idle can always be dragged away from twiddling their thumbs to go be useful. so he thinks. ]
...They don't actually eat people, do they?

Um... my friend says that she could do more good if she could change what computerized records say. Do you know...?
[Need you can't just do online banking fraud or erase student debt, you would have too much power]
I'm... not sure. Sukimamori are not visible to most people and these trains are very dangerous, so people fall anyway. But I think that if they eat them they are scavenging after the people die, not killing them.
[She doesn't really get trains, or subways, or any distinction between them.]

[ the latter option is less bad. But it isn’t great?? At least the goal is noble? He can respect scaring people into following safety rules. ]
Getting into computer records shouldn’t be a problem. If not me, I can talk to Cammie or Rowan.

[she dislikes teeming high-tech cities :/ and the idea of new people at all! Need's become less willing to tell her her evaluations on someone she's just met.
also probably unfortunate: Nyara has no revulsion towards the idea of scavenging.]
I have learned to use them, a little, but... [keys are small and her bulbous fingertips tend not to hit just one at a time unless she's very careful. No, no, she doesn't want to complain] they are strange to me and there is a great deal to know. I never read so much until I was brought here!
