Let's do this One Last Time [video]
All right, people. I’m going through the archives of this place to convert all the parchment confetti into indexable data sheets.
You can thank me later for saving you all the headache.
[ The vibe of this is an 8 AM Stand-Up Meeting rather than a gathering of guardians. The video's pov is from his lab, which in addition to the completed gigacomputer, was beginning to have half-finished little magitech doohickeys scattered in sparse nooks of free space. The amount of spiderbots seems to have been left at one (1) so far.]
First item: Mission debriefs. If you've fought any dark forces recently and have extra concerning details to share, we should write it down instead of keeping it in our heads.
Second: Current Projects. Anyone who's a friend to reindeer - you ought to talk to Phil and do him a solid for all the holiday prep. For the science nerds lurking around, I’d like to borrow your brains over here.
[ He'd normally have Lyla take care of this, but he's stuck with non-sentient computers. He hates it! ]
Last: Introductions for the new kids. And universe number, if your world has one of those - the chalkboard maps are getting digitized. I'll start.
My name is Miguel O'Hara, Spider-Man of Nueva York. No, they aren't vampire fangs. [ tired hand wave, as if recapping for the millionth time. ] I‘ve been mopping up messes in my neck of the multiverse until getting picked for fairy-tale duty with the rest of you.

[ lotta big loser energy here, Sam, but he must vouch for his snarky hologram wife... ]
Anyway, not relevant. We're all doing this by hand, so... I'll hand off what I have to your watch. I also have a gizmo over here that can register your dimensional signature for the map.
I'll just need to scan you.

Is it just the dimensional signature it picks up?
no subject
[ here it comes. ]
Signature, stability, and a snapshot of a few vitals. The gizmo was for detecting anomalies, which had problems with degenerating cells and other signs of glitching from being in the wrong dimension.
Shouldn't have anything too strange pop up.

Okay. I have a few more questions, but I'd rather ask those in person.
[He doesn't want to let slip anything that would make Dean worry.]

[ among the many functions that he misses of his wrist gadget, his hammerspace pocket of spider drones and what have you are high on the list.
Forced to do things the old fashioned way! ]

((OOC: Move to action afterward?))

[ And indeed! There will be an unassuming-looking pair of wooden doors (unlocked) waiting for Sam. The inner space, at this point, will have been pretty drastically transformed.
To start, it is dizzyingly vertical, built out for someone who can make use of both the walls and the ceiling as walkways. Faint claw marks line the paths used often to traverse. Miguel was apparently comfortable working a few dozen feet off the ground, so there was a console jutting out of the wall around that height. Another was by the ceiling, and the final (most normal) one was by the floor.
The gigacomputer's guts were all modern machinery, but the shell is a mix of aluminium and wooden cabinetry most available on the Pole, leaving an odd invention made of both old and new material stretching up a wall. It looked like something that might be in a warehouse or a server farm (and consequently made the room pleasantly warm).
A few small and half-finished magitech inventions littered the available workspaces at varying heights, except for the wandering spiderbot which was exploring on her own. Someone had kept themselves extremely busy since their arrival a few months ago.
Said someone drops down from a corner once he hears a disturbance by the entrance. Hello, Sam! Welcome to The Lair. ]

[As it is, Sam turns toward the drop, hand going to his lower back. Where he normally would keep a gun. But, as Sam doesn't go armed in the North Pole, his hand closes on air. Just long enough to be able to take a breath and relax, posture straightening as he pulls back on the immediate instinct about being in danger.]
Please don't do that without some warning in the field. Hunters are a bit jumpy as a rule.

I see. Sorry for the startle.
[ He addresses the gizmo on his wrist in a business-like fashion. Orange holoscreens whirl to life. Sam hadn't given him the go ahead to scan yet, but he assumes it's just a short talk away. ]
You had some questions for me, then... ?
no subject
[Also because the alternative is kind of exhausting.]
[He runs a hand back through his hair.] This is actually something I would appreciate not get back to my brother. [Who, sure, he hasn't seen in a while at the Pole, but that doesn't mean he isn't around somewhere.] I'm curious what sort of things might register as an anomaly. Or what it might register as not an anomaly for the world, but not entirely human?

Nearly all of the Spiders on my team are some form of altered human. Or altered dinosaur, if you want to get extra bizarre. The scanner is not really built to determine the particulars of that.
Anomalies are individuals displaced into the wrong dimension, which causes the glitching. We all register as that to some extent.
